First Ireland was founded in 1982 and our head office is in Parkgate Street, Dublin. We have a team of 55 risk professionals, who offer our clients, a range of personal lines insurance.
In January 2023, First Ireland became part of Gallagher, one of the world’s largest insurance and risk management firms. Gallagher has a growing presence in Ireland, with offices in Dublin, Limerick, Kilkenny, Wexford, Kerry and Tipperary.

In September 2024, First Ireland Business insurance and Financial Services rebranded as Gallagher following its acquisition by Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in January 2023.
